
Leadership Academy

The Leadership Academy is a 6-month leadership program. During the first 5 months the participants build leadership skills through online workshops conducted by world-renowned educators in respective fields. See below for the dates of the workshops.
The participants who successfully complete the first 5 months of workshops attend a 1-week on-ground program in Washington DC. Participants will receive the opportunity to learn from established leaders, network with one another, develop their leadership skills, and build their resumes.
The Washington Institute for Leadership is seeking a total of forty dedicated and coachable emerging leaders who have compassion and strong interest in giving back to their communities after completion of the Leadership Academy program.
Two Groups:
- High-school students: sophomores, juniors, and seniors
- University students: any class
Interested students may apply at www.wileadership.org/la to reserve their spot.
Note: The minimum number of attendees required for the program to move forward is 12 in each group.

June: Washington DC leadership retreat
The DC Leadership Retreat will be a 7-day leadership program that includes group and individual activities, as well as seminars about Washington D.C. and how to make it in this city of global politics; a group work focusing on creativity, team-work, and project management; and field trips to different institutions.
Location
Online and in Washington D.C.
Eligibility
1st group: High School sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
2nd group: University students.

Fee
$2500. It includes online classes as well as boarding, classes, and activities in Washington DC. Does not include traveling to DC.
Scholarships
A limited number of merit-based scholarships in the form of the fee waiver, or partial waiver, will be given to qualified participants. For scholarship please contact info@wileadership.org
